Financial Planning and Reporting o Conduct short- and long-range forecasting of revenues, 费用, and cash flows o Oversee preparation of the annual budget and monitor performance to ensure compliance o Oversee completion of the annual audit to maintain financial integrity o Monitor outstanding debt and implement strategies to maximize savings o Report to the Board of Commissioners as needed
Financial Risk Management o Lead internal credit committee to evaluate and mitigate risks o Assess joint venture projects and partners for financial viability o Oversee performance of independent investment advisor and ensure compliance with investment policies o Perform work out functions to resolve financial challenges with joint venture partners or outstanding loans

Operational Finance o Ensure adequate funding for SPPA operations and 开发ment projects o Develop and oversee implementation of the financial plan to support organization goals o Assist with legislative strategies, 游说, 外部法律顾问
Community Building o Serve in a public-facing role in cooperation with the Board of Commissions and President o Advocate for the Mission of the 圣保罗港务局 and represent the 圣保罗港务局 in the community
Finance Department Leadership o Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching to increase staff effectiveness o Work with staff to identify appropriate job enrichment/training to facilitate staff 开发ment o Champion diversity, 股本, and inclusion at the 圣保罗港务局
资格
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 优先考虑高学历.
- 10+ years relative public finance and government experience, including 3-4 years of supervisory responsibility.
